I understand the desire to write a basic startup program in C that just spits out, “Hello, world!” because the output goes out into the world without any further specification of exactly which part of the world. But for a first page on a new web site, we can narrow the scope of the output channel to be the Internets, and so we should say, “Hello, Web!”
See? Funny! I’m full of this kind of humor, and that’s the great thing about me having a web page!
